ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan has condemned the statements given by party leader Firdous Shamim Naqvi regarding government formation with Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM).

PTI spokesperson Naeem ul Haque has also condemned the statements and said that the views were expressed were not a representative of the party’s general view and that PTI wishes to form a government with MQM in light of national interest.
These statements come after MQM-P expressed serious reservations regarding the statements issued by Firdous Shamim Naqvi and demanded that the party hold him accountable for issuing such statements which can potentially cause a discord in the alliance.
