The Civil Aviation Authority has taken serious notice of discomfort caused to passengers travelling from Islamabad to Abu Dhabi via flight PA-230 on January 9 due to inordinate delay, provision of inaccurate information and lack of care for the passengers.
In this context, a report has been sought from Air blue regarding failure to communicate actual time for delay, for not providing adequate assistance, for not providing accommodation to the passengers as required under ANO-001-ATCP-2.0.
Besides the passengers complained that the quality of refreshments was of low quality. Air blue has been directed to provide their internal SOP for handling delayed flights and the provision of facilities to the passengers.
